This market-tested solution is engineered specifically for the healthcare industry to overcome the challenges antiquated pagers present.

When using PULSE with smartphones, your staff no longer has to be concerned about weak or dropped signals nor reliance on an answering service and clinician callback. You now have proof of delivery, traceability and audit control capabilities.

PULSE is comprised of the following features:

  • Secure Mobile Information Management (SMIM) Platform
  • SecureSMS® Gateway
  • Healthcare Communication Integration Server (HCCIS)
  • PULSE Operator/Nursing Portal
  • A suite of secure mobile apps for smartphones

Embedded within the CellTrust SecureCore, the HCCIS provides direct access to CellTrust’s own secure global Short Message Service (SMS) gateway. Critical communication is rapidly transmitted and each message type is archived, simplifying data tracking.

In addition, with the user-friendly, interactive, web-based Operator/Nursing Portals, healthcare professionals can quickly communicate patient information through secure text messages and emails. Using ActiveSync or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) technology, medical personnel are simply a click away and can inform staff if the person is available in real time. Your medical staff can feel confident that their communications and critical patient health information are secure and will be delivered to the right person at the correct time thanks to CellTrust’s PULSE solution.

Using DATA/WiFi* and the Telecommunications Critical Control Channel (TCCC), a constant and dependable connection can be maintained to compensate for hospital communication dead spots. Resilient messaging is also provided, ensuring timely messages are delivered to the right person at the correct time. If a signal is weak or the recipient is in a dead zone, communications are routed through multiple channels for redundancy and failover. The sender also receives confirmation on the mobile device that the message was delivered, opened and/or deleted. In addition, communication records are archived for future use, if needed.
