COVID-19 OUTBREAK AND BUSINESS CONTINUITY
Our customers across the United States and in other countries around the world are rapidly addressing their pandemic contingency plans, and in some cases, extending their SL2 secure, compliant mobile communication to ensure business continuity, as we face the COVID-19 outbreak and possible pandemic.
CellTrust Management has been closely monitoring the situation and maintains a Pandemic Response Process drawing from the FEMA (US Federal Emergency Management Agency) guidelines regarding Pandemic Influenza Continuity of Operations.
In February 2020, a mandatory organization-wide awareness training was conducted which solely focused on the continuity of CellTrust operations during a pandemic and the mitigation of the effects of a pandemic on CellTrust’s workforce supporting the essential functions of our organization.
This training referenced FEMA guidelines on Pandemic Influenza Continuity of Operations, reviewed the rules of engagement, and also served as a drill into the key areas including:
- Roles and responsibilities (with focus on the Human Resource role)
- Communication channels
- Succession planning during a pandemic (including the identification of primary, secondary, and tertiary points of contact) for each mission-critical department
Taking this to the next level, CellTrust is taking additional steps to protect the safety of its personnel by conducting a simulation test for a scenario involving Coronavirus spread in our community.
“Providing our customers with the seamless and secure, compliant mobile communication connectivity they need during this uncertain and challenging time is of the utmost importance to us. We are here to help your organization scale up to implement a work-from-home policy or other aspect of your specific pandemic business continuity contingency plan and encourage you to reach out and let us know how we can help.” Sean Moshir, CellTrust CEO and Chairman
