Micro Client Installation
SecureSMS Micro Client can be installed on the mobile device via a number of user-friendly
methods. Installation is quick and easy and generally takes only a few minutes.
For each operating system a compatible version is available (e.g. J2ME, BREW, BlackBerry,
iPhone, Windows Mobile, etc.). The installation files are copied and extracted on the
mobile device via any of the following methods:
Enterprise Deployment
Direct download from web
Pre-loaded by carrier or manufacturer
Download from a PC (by using a cable or Bluetooth)
Using flash memory (SD Cards)
To learn about above methods in more details please see Installation Guide.
Micro Client Registration
In order to complete the installation process, the user needs to register by identifying
their resident country and they will then be asked to create a SecureSMS password.
If the version that is being installed is certified, installation will be completed
with a minimum number of questions and prompts. Otherwise, the user maybe prompted
with additional confirmation (e.g. allowing communication with a server).
Note: Although SecureSMS has been certified by many mobile platform/operating system/handset
manufacturers and carriers, it still functions properly on most compatible devices
for which certification has yet to be achieved.
