The SecureSMS Appliance is a standalone version of the SecureSMS Gateway that can be installed by enterprises on their own network and behind their firewalls. An SSMS Appliance can be connected to a Shortcode (if it is exposed to Internet) or to a separately configured modem for sending and receiving secure messages.
