CellTrust® Corporation Acquires SMS Gateway & Applications Provider PrimeMessage
Acquisition Integral to CellTrust’s Overall Strategy to Securely Mobile-enable Businesses & Consumers
Scottsdale, Ariz. – March 26, 2007 – CellTrust® Corporation (www.celltrust.com), today announced that it has acquired Canadian-based, SMS gateway and applications provider PrimeMessage. Through the acquisition, CellTrust® extends its value proposition of creating a secure mobile environment in which to conduct personal and business exchanges via a cell phone or mobile handheld. PrimeMessage is a world-class gateway to 218 countries and more than 700 carriers with customers across numerous vertical markets, including: travel, technology, real estate, logistics, and hospitality. By combining forces, the recently announced CellTrust® Secure Mobile Information Management platform makes it possible for CellTrust® business partners and customers to target any cell phone user with or without data capability, providing them unprecedented reach in the highly competitive mobile marketing arena.
Launching today at CTIA WIRELESS 2007 in Orlando, Florida, CellTrust® unveils two immediate mobile marketing and business process solutions that result from the acquisition: CellTrust®Mobile Messaging and CellTrust® Mobile Commerce. CellTrust® Mobile Messaging and CellTrust® Mobile Commerce serve the corporate marketer by providing a strategic and flexible mobile marketing opportunity; the business manager with SMS business process optimization features; and the entrepreneur with a ready made channel to deliver branded content and services.
